Really looking forward to the games! Please don't interpret as complaint, just curious - why 20 teams after 36/42 last couple of years? Less teams applying, less field space?
Any reason why Monster is so low? Was it because they only finished 6th at Nationals this year?
Bids + field space = 20 teams.
Monster = dropped out, so it's a moot point now.
The main reason for 20 teams is field space. This is simply the maximum we can accommodate: The public fields are closed by now, we cant use Queen's fields for construction reasons, and past fields we cannot return to due to damage from last year.
Any update on the new schedule?
