Goosebowl 2010 was a great success; thank you to all teams!

The fall Ultimate season is upon us again, and we all know what that means...GOOSEBOWL! Hosted by Queen's University's competitive Men's and Women's Ultimate team, this annual tourney marks the end of the fall season with style. It will be a costume party all weekend, on and off the field, so remember to bring some cool threads.

Boblsed vs Tropical Punch - I think Bobsled won, because
Bobsled played Big Fish and lost 4-2 (this game took over an hour to play!)

Tropical Punch vs Peace and Love - Tropical Punch won 8-3 or 2 depending on who you ask

So can you believe it the only pool that standings can nearly be figured out for is 31-36 - you guys rock

Rules/Format

Rules

We will be playing by 11th edition rules. Size of the brick to be determined by field size
Foot blocks are up to the captains before each game
Any other rule changes will take place at the captains' meeting

Format

This is a co-ed tournament.
The ratio for players will be 4/3, and that can be either 4 girls or 4 guys. (Ratio will be determined by the receiving team). If captains agree, the ratio can be 5/2.
Saturday is play to 13, Sunday is to 15.
Hard caps - no soft caps, 5 mins before the end of the game, determined by the captains, there are no horns.
one time-out per half, no floaters!

BID INFORMATION

BIDS FOR 2011 WILL START AT THE BEGINNING OF OCTOBER!

Registration deadline: October 21at 8pm.

If you have a team of awesome people interested in being in this year's Goose Bowl, here is what you need to do:

1. Send an e-mail to goosebowl@gmail.com and in the subject please write: 2011 Registration Bid.

2. In your e-mail please include the captain's name, team name, and contact info.

We will then e-mail back to confirm, and request a payment.

This year's fees are $400 per team.

The first 12 teams to e-mail and get confirmation are in! No time to waste! We look forward to seeing you there!
